VALUE RE-ORIENTATION IS KEY TO DEVELOPMENT- SAYS NOA DG
The Director General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mr. Mike Omeri has identified value- re-orientation as encapsulated in the Agency’s Do the Right Thing campaign as a component to drive development of any nation.
Omeri made the disclosure during a visit to the Director- General of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) Engr. Emeka Ezeh in Abuja.
He said that with the right attitude of doing the right thing, the country will experience the desired development needed to drive the success of the transformation agenda of the present administration.
The NOA boss informed the BPP team that the agency has a robust platform that takes the basics of government policies and programmes to the people at the grassroot for easy understanding.
“Nigerians should begin to understand the Do the Right Thing to ensure the success of the transformation process of the present administration”, he said.
Responding, the Director General of Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), Mr. Emeka Ezeh commended the NOA DG for the series of Do the Right Thing campaigns and the adoption of the second stanza of the national anthem as a national prayer.
He said that procurement is a key to good governance. With the right attitude to comply with the tenets and principles of the Procurement Act, we can achieve a system that is beneficial to all Nigerians.
