HARD WORK PAYS – NOA DG CHARGES WORKERS
Workers have been charged to discharge their duties diligently and efficiently to ensure that organizations achieve their goals.
The Director General National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mr. Mike Omeri gave the charge when the Amalgamated Union of Public Corporations, Technical and Recreational Services Employees (AUPCTRE) paid him a courtesy call in his office in Abuja.
He stated that truancy, lateness to work and other sloppy attitude makes the job suffers and affect the general output of the Agency.
The NOA DG stated that staff of the Agency are being given the adequate professional training needed to enable them deliver effectively. In his words: “we need to have the required knowledge, zeal and cooperation where ever we find ourselves that is why the Agency is training and re-training its staff to ensure that professional touch is being seen.”
Omeri promised that management of the Agency will continue to ensure good welfare for its staff and make effort to ensure that problems are being solved. He then called on AUPCTRE to work assiduously to move the Agency forward.
Earlier, the Chairman of AUPCTRE Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Council Comrade Benjamin Anthony commended the activities of the Agency under the leadership of Omeri and said “In life, when you do something that touches the life of people, the people will continue to pray for you”. He urged the management not to relent from its good works.
Highlight was the introduction of newly elected executives of AUPCTRE (NOA) chapter under the leadership of Comrade Zebulon Ebune.
