All is set for the lunch of the distribution of the brand new 22 SUV vehicles which the Agency acquired to aid mobility of its state Directorates. This lunch will be chaired by the Senate President David Mark. The DG in his speech to members of the press said “In the words of one of my predecessors, Professor Jerry Gana, ‘the mobilizer must be mobile’. This will be taking place here in our premises on the 15th Jan, 2013 in addition to the launch of a photo book titled “Transformational Strides 2012” and a photo exhibition of some of our activities in the last one year.
On the 17th Jan, there will be a road walk tagged “Do the Right Thing;Keep to Time Nigera” This forms part of the one year anniversary program schedule which the Agency mapped out.”The campaign seeks to reawaken the consciousness of Nigerians to the fact that the original concept of “African Time” was actually about being very early for appointments and not about lateness.
As usual, the Agency will be counting on the support of its closest partners in nation building, the gentlemen of the press, to prosecute this campaign as well as to showcase the activities we have lined up.We wish to reaffirm our commitment to deepening the achievements we have so far recorded and to sustaining their gains. In the coming year, the National Orientation Agency will be introducing more strategies as we seek to transform the orientation of Nigerians towards realizing the society of our dreams”
