Nigerian youth have been charged to make positive impact in the development of the country by displaying the right attitude wherever they find themselves.
The Director General National Orientation Agency (NOA) Mr Mike Omeri gave the charge while receiving the Save Africa Integrity Legacy Network International team who presented him an Honorary Award as an Icon of Africa Integrity in his office.
The NOA DG who was represented by the Technical Assistant of the Agency Mr David Akoji disclosed that the Agency is passionate about youth and the society and that is why the “do the right thing” campaign was launched to eradicate societal vices. He further disclosed the willingness of NOA to collaborate with the team in their programmes because of their laudable aims and objectives which are inter-related with the Agency.
Mr Omeri thanked them for the Award and called on all Nigerians to be Ambassadors of change, evangelists of hope by doing the right thing and supporting the programmes and policies of President Goodluck Jonathan.
Earlier, the President of the team Mr Shagari Dogo pointed out that the NOA Chief Executive was identified by the organisation as a beacon of hope and a guiding light to the next generation of leaders because of the various re-orientation programmes carried out by the Agency in the last one year.
He further stated that the presentation of the award to the Mr Mike Omeri as an Icon of African Integrity legacy Ambassador was in recognition of his integrity, hard work and contributions to the society.
